When was the last time you took a creative approach to your business?

I have to admit it. The title of the book threw me off, made me cringe, every time I thought "Whale Vomit." But when I sat down with my mother-in-law, who, after 20 years of being a solo chiropractor, is starting a business with my wife, and asked her what actually makes her any different than any other chiropractor in town, it became fun talking about vomit!
The Whale Vomit Method is full of intriguing comparisons and immediately actionable points that allow you to separate yourself from the indiscriminate pack. A main take-away is to stop trying to be what you think your customers want; be remarkable.
The book is an easy read, which shouldn't detract from it's value. The author has a very casual tone and writes with his speaking voice.

A brilliantly unique book - a must read for anyone in sales and marketing!

I read this book within 2 days. It is an easy to read book, that is... not to be confused with simple, but rather by storytelling new concepts are often best explained. This author is brilliant. If you are interested in marketing your ideas or to improve your sales and profitability, please do yourself the favor of first reading the experiences contained. We can all learn from the successes and failures of others. You will without fail have some paradigm shifts throughout your reading I guarantee you!
I have followed the career of this author, and this book highlights his expertise and how he puts his own words to good use within the book. This book is powerful and different, a fact you will discover as you use discernment in how to apply this knowledge in your own marketing strategy. It gives you the power to focus your energy, save the most precious commodity we all have -time and push your profitability limits without compromising your moral principles -a rarity these days of white collar crime!
Of the many books I've read on how to market ideas, reach people's hearts, and motivate, one of my favorites has been "Influencer: The Power to Change Anything by Kerry Patterson, Joseph Grenny, David Maxfield and Ron McMillan", this book "The Whale Vomit Method" by Kevin James Dubrosky tops my list. It is entertaining to read, powerfully motivating and most uniquely creative in teaching. By the time you finish reading this book you will understand how to use the principles to change your business for the better! Throughout it all the author uses straight-forward conversational style and a great sense of humor. I highly recommend you read this book!

The information in this book - a steal for this price

I've always considered myself a master when it comes to Sales. But after reading Kevin's book I'm realizing maybe I wasn't master status. With the tools, tips and tricks he explains in this book, in an easy to understand way, my marketing and sales will now be stronger than it's ever been. Another home run :)
