About the Author
Gary Whetstone is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Victory Christian Fellowship in New Castle, Delaware, and Founder of Gary Whetstone Worldwide Ministries and the School of Biblical Studies. Under the leadership of Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty, Gary received his ordination from Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Since personally experiencing Gods miraculous deliverance and healing nearly 30 years ago, Gary has devoted his life to helping others become free. He ministers locally, nationally, and internationally in churches, seminars, and evangelistic crusades. Gifted in teaching, he provides sound, biblical instruction and practical strategy for victorious living.

Through the local outreach of Victory Christian Fellowship, which Gary pastors, God has set free hundreds of thousands of people. Having a great burden to minister to the local community, Pastor Gary and his church have launched life-changing outreaches in several areas: HIV/AIDS; substance and alcohol abuse; inner-city community outreach centers; Saturday Sidewalk Sunday School; food and clothing outreach programs; and many large evangelistic campaigns.

To date, Gary has traveled over 3,000,000 miles teaching and preaching the Gospel. He also trains and sends forth evangelism and mission teams to minister locally and internationally.

Currently, "Life's Answers" reaches an audience of over four million listeners on the East Coast of the United States. Upon the completion of his Ministerial Training at Rhema Bible Training Center in 1984, Gary went on to earn his Master of Christian Ministry in June 1997. He earned his Doctorate of Religious Education in May 1999 from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary in Ridgely, Maryland.

Gary and his family live near the church he pastors in New Castle, Delaware, and are actively involved in the local and international Whetstone ministry.

About the Author
Forrest-Webb is a literary award-winning, best-selling, professional author. Born in Nottingham but raised and schooled in Merseyside, he has had more than 20 novels published in hardback and paperback, and in most European languages. One novel became a Disney film, another a long-running musical. He has written for TV, radio and the theatre. He writes under his own name and three pseudonyms. He has served in the British armed forces and is a keen sportsman, having been a British kayak National Champion and representing the UK internationally in the World Canoe Championships (K1 500 meters), and again a few years later as a 'works' sponsored international-class motor-cross rider, racing in the UK, in France, Algeria, and in the BBC's TV motor-cross series. He is a 7th Dan black belt in aikido, having been awarded that high grade by The Japan Aikido Association, and The British Aikido Association. He is also a judo black belt. He has been the senior instructor of a martial arts club in Wales for the past 34 years, and prior to that founded clubs in Hampshire and London. He has never accepted payment from students for martial arts instruction. Until he began writing novels he was a journalist and worked for several British national newspapers, before becoming executive editor for a well-known UK magazine publishing group. He lives and writes on a farm in the Marcher country between England and Wales and maintains an active participant interest in country sports. He is still writing.

Ending was too abrupt

It was getting really good - the characters were coming into their own, the situation was really intense, with a huge twist. Then the book ended. No elaboration, nothing. Just abruptly finished. Disappointing really. If there were a follow-up book or something, the ending might make sense as more of a bridge... but no.

If you like Red Storm Rising, Team Yankee, etc, then this book will be right up your alley. Very good, very gripping book right up until the end. I won't spoil the ending, but it's incredibly disappointing.

Having been a British Squaddie during the 70's & 80's, I think this book is spot on. Anybody who served in Germany/BAOR at the time will find it a really good read.

Buy it. That's an order ;)

In this book, he provides you with 60 lighting setups, the ideas behind them, and samples of the results. Have you ever wanted to be the assistant to a Master Photographer? Take the time and study Kelly’s latest book, Portrait Mastery in Black and White, where you will take a passionate journey into the artist’s studio, his head, and his heart, learning how to think like one of the most accomplished photographers working in the industry today.

Kelly’s portraits are simple, direct; yet make powerful statements, putting aside the overstuffed manner of so much celebrated photography seen in today’s digital color portraiture. He likes to work like a painter against neutral backgrounds or simple window light locations with minimal equipment, while he achieves a brilliant encounter with his subjects with relaxed poses creating his signature style.

Kelly is also a consummate darkroom craftsmen and digital artist. His multiple awards, and impressive clientele are not only from his intensity in the camera room, they are a result of his vision and preparation behind his camera and in the postproduction efforts that are transparent to the viewer on the final print.

Tim Kelly is a leader in the photography industry - not only for his stunning and impeccable black and white portrait work, but in business, marketing and sales. I was fortunate to be directed to Tim Kelly's work in the beginning of my own portrait career almost 20 years ago, and I learn from him every time I hear him teach, and now with his Portrait Mastery book. I love the stories and delivery that Tim gives to each of the portraits presented in the book. It keeps the book interesting along with the technical lighting instruction.
This book should be on every portrait photographers shelf to go back to again and again.

This book develops a general theory of law, inclusive legal positivism, which seeks to remain within the tradition represented by authors such as Austin, Hart, MacCormick, and Raz, while sharing some of the virtues of both classical and modern theories of natural law, as represented by authors such as Aquinas, Fuller, Finnis, and Dworkin. Its central theoretical questions are: Does the existence or content of positive law ever depend on moral considerations? If so, is this fact consistent with legal positivism? The author shows how inclusive positivism allows one to answer yes to both of these questions. In addition to articulating and defending his own version of legal positivism, which is a refinement and development of the views of H.L.A. Hart as expressed in his classic book The Concept of Law, the author clarifies the terms of current jurisprudential debates about the nature of law. These debates are often clouded by failures to appreciate that different theorists are offering differing kinds of theories and attempting to answer different questions. There is also a failure, principally on the part of Ronald Dworkin, to characterize opposing theories correctly. The clarity of Waluchow's work will help to remove the confusion which has hitherto marred some jurisprudential debate, particularly about Dworkin's work.
